What's a Crafter to do with all these left over CS & papers? ......

......I know.....throw them out...NOT!  Shred for paper birds nest......No, don't think so.    Ahh, I know.....Use them in cards and other crafty 3-D Paper Art.  YES!!!! that's it.   OK, here is something I put together with some of my huge stash of left over CS and design/printed papers.  I am working on a few more,  thought I would share this one first. I mainly work on Scrapbooks and 3-D paper art...What do you think for a quick card made from scraps?

The base is CTMH Colonial White cardstock  8.5"x5.5" folded in half.  I stamped my sentiment first at the bottom right corner using CTMH exclusive inks in Blush (Z2106). Then I randomly placed three different acrylix stamps from the Cherished Flourishes stamp set (D1413) onto one 3"x3" block.  I rrandomly stamped in the CTMH Sweet Leaf Ink around the sentiment covering the rest of the cardstock. (You will notice, I stamped off the CS edges only on the cut sides.)  My first 3/4 circle mat came from a 4.5"x4" pc of left over B&T papers from the Sophia Level 2 (X7131B) paper pack. My med. to drk. green circle mat was from a 4"x4" pc of paper from where...I do not know..LOL.  The circle is 3.5" in diameter. My medallion is from a 3.75"x 7.5" strip of left over B&T papers from Sophia. On the two horizontal strips I used Fiskar "lace" corner punch only on one edge. Top horizontal Sophia B&T paper measured at  3.25"x.75". The Bottom horizontal is CTMH Blush Cardstock measured at 2.5"x.5".  They are butted up together with the laced punch corner facing away from each other. The vertical piece~ Colonial white CS 3.75"x1.75"mat with a stamped image on the Blush CS with 4 corners punched with the same corner punch as above. I trimmed the bottom edge of the vertical mat with a organza 1/4 wide and 2" ribbon.   I played with all my scraps and prepositioned everything before I adhered it down. I also embellished randomly with CTMH GLITZ stardust glitter gel (Z1313). A fun way to add sparkle without getting sparkle all over your projects, clothes, and home.
