"All Our Yesterdays" 6.5x6.5 mini album

If you have a moment go check out Keepsakes by Melissa. I like  a lot of her projects and she is having a wonderful blog candy giveaway. Thanks for taking time to go stop by.

I have to say, I made this album the other morning and fell in love with it. Originally I made it as a show piece for a festival. I loved it so much, I have now added my very own pics and will give this to one of my girls later down the road (after I am 6ft under that is..LOL!!). It will sit in my crafty room or on the living room mantel so I can revist some of the yesterdays of my family. Hope you enjoy the craftmanship.
CTMH products were used just not the papers this time.
CTMH inks...Chocolate (Z2111), Parchment(Z2142), & Bamboo(Z2103)
other ink Color Box Brown by Cats Eye
CTMH Stamp set Card Chatter-Thank You (C1381)
CTMH My Creations A-door-ables (Z1321)
CTMH Designer Buttons-Wooden (Z1387)
CTMH Hemp-Natural (Z280)
Papers are a combination of Bo Bunny's Back to Basics -Mamma Razzi's,
My Minds Eye-Apron Dots, K&Company-Addison's Blue Gingham.
Used a heavy Cream textured cardstock that was left over from projects long ago. Still trying to use up as many scraps as possible in anything I create.

Front page- I heavily edge the cream base cardstock with the  Cats Eye Brown and all other papers used were also edged with the same ink.  The first mat is the Minds Eye Apron Dots cut at 6.25". The next mat is Bo Bunnys's Mama Razzi's cut at 6". The title card is the back of the same Bo Bunny's cardstock cut at 5.5x3".
This shows the Mini album partially opened. You can really see the cross hatching in the edging I did of the back pages.

Here you see the second and third page. The negative stamping of the shape on the 2nd page is the cat's eye brown and some of the CTMH bamboo. I used the K&Company Addison Blue Gingham on both of these pages. The sentiments are strips I cut from the Bo Bunny's Mama Razzi's cardstock. The one at the bottom is extended across both pages.  The cardstock on the a-door-ables door on pg 3 is another piece from Bo Bunny cut at 2 7/8x2/78 to fit the door. I stamped both sentiments from the CTMH stamp set in the Cats Eye brown (this ink has a browner red color and worked great with this paper). The sentiment fit perfectly in it's corner. This area is for the girls Locks of hair I have preserved from when they got their first hair cuts.
The third page you see the CTMH a-door-ables which comes white.  I took the CTMH parchment stamp pad, fliped it over and patted all over the a-door-able until I got the color effect I wanted. Then I took the Bamboo stamp pad and lightly stamped around it as well. I did not use any sponge daubers to do the edging with or to stamp the a-door-able this time... I wanted the rougher look from directly stamping with the ink pad. I edged it with the chocolate.  I attached a piece of vellum directly to the back of the a-door-ables, then put foam tape at the bottom and both sides. This is so I can slide the packaged locks in behind the vellum. I attached a CTMH wooden button that was trimmed in CTMH Hemp. I think the door is cute.

Here I continued the strip from the 3rd page over to the 4th page. Used the Minds Eye Apron Dots papers here.

Here, I heavily edge the base cream cardstock with the Cats Eye Brown, the second mat is the cream cardstock but, I only edge it lightly. The piece of cardstock on the 4th page is a cut shape from the Bo Bunny cardstock. On the 5th page I repeated the same steps with the base and 2nd mat.
Then I used the negative stamping of the shape from the cut out on the 4th page. On the negative stamping I did use a dauber. The cream paper had a texture to it, so the daubing effect turned out perfect. I also put a journal mat below the 2 pics. And you see where I put the other wooden buttons with the hemp tied in bows.

Here you see we are back to the front.  I just need to add my journaling and a few dates. Then it is complete.
Here is the cut out shape I used to do the negative stamping.
All the buttons were adhered with CTMH Liquid Glass (Z679). That stuff will hold them down forever.
I know... this was a bit long but, I thought I would share more details so if you would like to scraplift you have the information. You can click on my CTMH badge to purchase any of the CTMH supplies and all other supplies came from Hobby Lobby. Have a wonderful weekend.
Have a few projects to work on..when I get these massive projects out of the way, I will share a few of them with you.
Thanks for stoping by and leaving me a message. I love to get thoughts and opinions from all my crafty friends.
