These are papers I have wanted to work with for a long time. I just could not get a pic/design in my head with them. until I saw a layout Mary at Cardz TV did, Then it all came together. These papers came in a packet as a gift from a friend a year or two back. Sorry, I do not know what designer on these papers.
The designed papers are not CTMH. I did use CTMH solid color cardstock and CTMH White Daisy pigment-based ink which I used on one layout to distress the edges. I also added my very favorite easy to use sparkle-CTMH GLITZ stardust glitter gel. (doesn't get on everything and everywhere). No stamping on these layouts. I wanted something a little plain Jane so to speak. I think they came out brightly elegant. These 2 pages are meant to be beside each other or on totally different pages in your scrapbook. I see pre teen or teenager pages on these, brother sister pages...even twins pages.
The first page (Lagoon), It's base page is solid, second layer is designed paper, third layer is a brighter solid (CTMH Pacifica cs) and the fourth layer (the center) is the center of the 2nd layer) The designed paper has heart shapes throughout. One of them lined up dead center, so I enhanced it with my favorite CTMH Glitz Glitter Gel (Z1313), added organza ribbon just below it. Cut out the Paisley from the other coordinating papers that came in the packet and pop dotted one and then the other two half/quarter pieces were adhered onto the solid cardstock.
The second page (Pear Green), It's base page is the designed page, second page is a dark green solid & the third layer is a lighter green solid. The fourth layer is the center from the base page. I hope that made sense to you....
...(Anywho, I actually cut out the center of the first three layers so the weight of the pages would not be an issue (ex. of the back side of pages at bottom of this blog). This page can be turned to use on any one of it's side. I added the cut paisleys and pop dotted them
Here is where you can see the levels of the cut out centers from the base, 2nd, & third layers. When you put thes in your protective covers, more than likely you will place another page behind it. So you never see the back of your pages.
Actually, you could turn this into a page as well. I would not do anything to pierce the papers though.
I hope you enjoyed these. Thank you for stopping by and giving me some input on these. Comment away.....
