6x6 Mini Album

I was playing around with my paper supplies and looking over all the medium to large scrap papers I had not used. I decided to use all my scraps with the exception of 1pc. of 12x12 heavy cardstock. Hope you like my mini album.

Now that this is all finished, I think this will make a great gift for that special Mom or for someone who has been a mother figure in our life. Just attach a few pictures or memorabilia that will make her eyes light up with laughter or a happy tear from a wonderful memory. This is a gift a MOM  will remember for years to come.

Wow, I can make several different occasion Mini albums with all that scrap paper I have. Hope this gives you many ideas on ways to use up those scraps.

Members, Come and Scrapbook, have some fun, and visit.

There will be 4 open seats for New Guests. 

Everyone will need to RSVP by email no later than 4/5/2011, so I can make arrangements for lunch and scrapbooking supplies.

Date:   April 9, 2011

Place:  My home ~ Collierville, TN.            

Time:  10:00 am until...usually, we start closing down around 5pm.  I will keep everything going until about 9pm. Guests seats are $5.00. I will have all tools available for use, including the Cricut Expression. Just bring your photos and all your scrapbooking supplies you may need.

If you are a First Time Guest and have never scrapbooked or have no supplies...

... Bring your photos and we will get you set up to begin your first few 12x12 page layouts.

Here are a few of the photo mailers I have been working on. You can fill these with pictures and messages to send to Friends, & family.
You can personalize these to fit the event of the pictures, share a vacation,
or even the new arrival to your family. 
These will be treasured as they are made from the heart and sent to those you love.   Hope you enjoy. I have already given a few of these to my dear friends filled with pictures from special events that we attended together. I truly enjoyed making them as well as giving them.

The total size of the mailer is 4.3/4 tall and 6.3/4 long.
They will fit into a 5x7 envelope.
The front section (grey CS) is folded over aproximatly  
 1 to 1.1/2 over the back section (white CS).

I used "Close To My Heart" Grey Wool Cards Stock (5571)

and the Feb. Stamp of the Month (D1453). I stamped the grey card

stock randomly using Blk. Excl. Inks Stamp pad (Z2105).

 The Red cut out flourish is stamped in 
CTMH Excl. inks Hoiday Red (Z2127)
I stamped  in blk. and cut out the sentiment, and used a
couple of pop dots to lift the sentiment above the cut out
stamped flourish which is attached directly to the Grey Wool Card stock.

Inside, you see I stamped the Grey Wool Card Stock in the Holiday Red.
The white back side of  card stock stamped
in Black inks. The pictures are inside of the  "Close To My Heart"
Memory Proctectors in the 4x6 Flip Flaps (Z4114).
I stamped the second sentiment onto a  2.1/2 x 2.1/2  square
and adhered on top of the red ribbon

Very simple to make and fun to give as gifts or even as an annoucement.

Workshop A is from 9:30am to 12:30pm. 
Workshop B is from 1:30pm to 4:30pm.
Workshop cost is 15.00. This includes all supplies you need to do this workshop.  You will have plenty of paper supplies to carry home and make more.

Baskets, & Bookmarks

These are the result of an all weekend Stamp Camp. I made 6 baskets that weekend. What a blast we had. Made several Scrapbook layouts and other 3-D art (not pitured here).Thanks for sharing your talents ladies... (from The Bling Team)

Still working on the Blog......

Working on the Blog still. Hope to have more time to get it going with all my badges and links connected by next week.  Learning as I go. Not the computer geek in this type of stuff.

In the mean time, Hope everyone is having wonderful weather. Little misty here today but, I hear it's warming up and the sun will peek out and smile at us. What a blessing.


Arlington in April is a new project I am working on for selling my creative wonders at. It will be on April 30, 2011 in Arlington, TN. Should be a blast.
Can't wait to share Scrapbook layouts, Photo Mailers, and other 3-D paper art.


Enough said for now. I'll get back to this blog set up tomorrow.

My New Adventures

Here we go, I am starting on a new adventure. We will see how this goes. I will share my paper crafting art and Scrapbooking with you from day to day. I am an Independent Consultant with Close to My Heart since August 2010. Loving every minute of it. I originally started to get my discount. Now, I am expanding my customers and hope to have my own team.
I have personally been scrapbooking off and on for about 9 years. I am vamping up my creative bone and sharing it with others. Something I can do now that I have more time since being laid off.
 I always say, "When a door shuts, a window is always open for opportunities. You just have to take that failthful leap out the window." 
Well, I am taking that faithful leap out the window.
I will have plenty to share real soon as I develop more knowledge on Blogging. I hope you enjoy my art and can come join in on some of the fun we have at our Crops.
