Paper Crafts are Great!

Yes!!  I have it all done. 

The Recipe Box with Sunflowers in the colors that my dear oldest daughter has in her Kitchen. Took a little thinking on manipulating papers with the correct color of sunflowers to nearly match her other deco in her beautiful kitchen. I think that's what makes my 

Close To My Heart Card stock, Stamp sets, and Inks amazing. 

Originally, I looked for papers that I might use with Sunflowers already on them 

with other coordinating papers, But no luck. The colors all off or card stock/papers not right for what I needed. So I designed my own texture and background papers. 

Also, Our May Stamp of the Month went perfect for what I needed. 

The Art Philosophy Cricut Cartridge from Close to My Heart 

was a bonus in getting the shapes I needed as well.

Sneaky Peaky at my Latest Project

I have a little free time this week and got to thinking about upcoming crafts I need to work on. With Birthdays around the corner I remembered the Recipe box I want to make for my oldest daughter. I grab all my needed supplies look around for sunflower stuff (her Kitchen Theme), paper colors, inks and all. As I am pooling my stuff together, I realize her colors are mainly Red and Black in her kitchen. My yellow and blue B&T’s (background & texture papers) will not work. No sunflowers with black and Red back ground…So, now I am making my own B&T’s…So cool & easy when the inks and papers coordinate so well together from Close To My Heart. The May Stamp of the Month was made just for my project (not really…but I am going with that). Here’s a sneak peak..Hopefully it will be done this weekend and I can post the finished design.

Summer Moments for Scrapbooking & Crafting

Schools out... YEA!!!! Time to play and get away. Workshops and Open Crops in June.

Never attended a crop or workshop. Now is the time to get a feel of what they are about. Make time to do a quick project. You’ll need 2 maybe 3 hours at the most. Contact me for more information on how we can help you get that scrapbook, card set, or that special gift you want to put together & done in no time. Best of all, you will have space to lay it out, tools to borrow, and helpful hints or suggestions to get that piece all done and ready to give or use for yourself. 

OPEN CROP/CRAFT DAYS:

Open from 10a-7p

Time to finish projects. If you started a project in one of our Crop Clubs and was not able to finish, you are more than welcome to come by on the days listed. Inks, Stamp sets, Cricut Expression will be available. You may bring Cartridges, I do have the Art Philosophy and a few other carts to share. Space is Free to my Crop Club Members. Non Members-$5.00 for table space and use of tools. You can stay as long as you need to work on your projects. Brown Bag Lunch and a drink.  Light snacks, sweet tea, & water available.

We will begin at 10am. We will wrap up about 5:00pm

 CLUB Information

& 2012 Crop Club Plans

Still taking New Members

Will be meeting in 2012 every other month. I will need those who will be continueing and any one interested in the new year Crop Club to sign up before the end of Dec. If you have questions or would like more information, NOW is the time. It is a great way to set aside planned time to get those projects and Scrapbooks put together.

We will also have OPEN CROPS available on the opposite months. This is for you to use up those items you have and to get more projects done.

Crop Club Members get a discount on Open Crops.

Open Crops are not a part of the Crop Club.

Our Crop Club cost is $25.00 to keep our minimum amount needed for each hostess to receive their qualifying 

free items for their month.

These are the months we will meet for the

   We will be at a craft fair in Olive Branch on Nov. 10th.   We will be deciding on a new date at a later time.

When you Host a month...You have the opportunity 

to receive the minimum of $25 FREE.

During 2011, most everyone received 

at least $40. free and 1 item 1/2 off.

This is Girl time as well as your Project time. 

You can't beat that.  

Also, If you do not have room at your home, You are 

more than welcome to host a my home.
