I am not a big coloring person nor am I very patient with my results. But, I have always admired those who can color well and wanted to work with alcohol markers. I love the versatility you have with many different venues in the paper crafting world using these. Now that I have some, after playing around with blending a few color combinations and watching a few videos, I attempted my first coloring. I used a drawing downloaded from Annie's Cuttlebug Cuties, proceeded to color (in the same way from watching the You Tube videos), and here's my first attempt.
Thankfully I wasn't planning to use this on anything, just playing with them. Just wanted those of you who don't think they can do something or don't want to share what they have worked on...don't over think it or judge yourself harshly. We are all at a learning point in some aspect. I may never get good at coloring and that's OK. Doesn't mean I won't do it from time to time.
I really do need some practicing on all facets of the coloring world. I enjoyed it, It was fun watching the colors blend (or not). SO, even though I am embarrassed, I am sharing the outcome of my very first attempt. Let me know what you think in the comments below. Anyone have suggestions, or other videos I can watch and learn from, Please let me know.
Thanks for stopping by and I know this pic looks funny so you have my permission to giggle...LOL, just not to much..Double LOL!!! Hugs and Love, Sandra V.

I totally agree, Sandra. Instead of getting caught up in making things "just so", it's better to be happy about trying something new. Thanks for sharing your first attempt -- I think it looks great! I especially like how you coloured the hair. Great job! :o)
Sandra, you go girl! I too am not very good at coloring, but do try from time to time. It is not that enjoyable for me, I would rather being adding embellies! Have a wonderful week.
enjoy *~*
