Gratitude with an Attitude Hop.....

Welcome to the
Stampers with an Attitude Blog Hop!

The Stampers with an Attitude are excited to show you our
"Gratitude with an Attitude" artwork
so here we go.
The blogger in front of me is Becky McClain
So, if you came from there you are on track.

 I don't know about anyone else, but I'm ready for Thanksgiving.  We always spend it with my husbands family. Everyone pitches in to bring a portion of the meal. It's really nice and relaxing for everyone. You know, most of the men are watching football or talking sports while the women are in the kitchen getting all the fixings together for it to be devoured in less than an hour...Usually the same ol' same ol'. But for us, the actual getting together and spending some time with family is a Blessing. With everyone's schedules and other families spread across the world it's the one time we can truly enjoy catching up and relaxing after the meal. Here is my creation for the Hop. I am ready to put this years pics into my
"I'm Grateful for" page.
We have many things to be Grateful for and
Family is number ONE.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Front view with the Flip Flap closed.
I stamped the outer edge of the 12" x 12" and the 8"x 12" with the
elegant doily from the Sweet & Lovely stamp set.
I twisted and turned the stamp set to fit as close to each other and
stamped off the base page and the 4.5 x 4.5 picture mat to
coordinate the design. I added icons and words cut
from the Artbooking Cartridge. I also added my Title
stamped onto the Dimensional Elements.
~~~~~
Here you see where I used the Dimensional Elements as the
title accent and also as the opening accent to
open the Flip Flap.
~~~~~~
Here you see the complete base page and the inner Flip Flap.
The 4 top mats are 3" x 3", The 2 bottom mats are 4" x 6"
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

I used the following items to create this layout.
CTMH  Kraft, Olive, & Autumn Terracotta Cardstock
CTMH  Olive, Chocolate, & Autumn Terracotta Ink Pad
CTMH  Stamp Sets = Sweet & Lovely D1571 &
                                   A Friend Like You B1410
CTMH  12" Assorted Flip Flaps (One 12"x 8") Z1325
CTMH  Dimensional Elements (Awards) Z1792
CTMH  Glitter Glitz Gel (Stardust) Z1313
CTMH  Artbooking Cricut Cartridge (Bundle Z1096)

Here is the Journal Spot I made then folded
for special notes on what my
favorite part of the Thanksgiving Meal is.

Here you see where I accented the Icon and the
first letter with my favorite bling,
Glitter Glitz Gel in stardust.

~~~~~~
Hope you are enjoying all the talents of
the ladies in our Blog Hop.
May you and your family have a
Project Inspirations: Ombré Technique
Hope everyone has a wonderful weekend. I will be away for a few days and
thought I would share this video from Close To My Heart.  The Ombre look is a
big hit every where I look. I love how it can be added to my scrapbooking and other crafts.
Carly is sharing a project she made using dimensional elements,
re-inkers, and liquid glass. Awesome.
I have added this to one of my To Do List in the near future.
Hope you will try this technique and share it with me. If you need any of the items mentioned in the video, you are more than welcome to purchase them through my web site HERE.
Thank You for stopping by and don't forget to return for our up coming
Gratitude all through November......
Don't know why I did not think of this the other day. I have been posting on
Facebook each day something I am very Grateful/Thankful for. I am going to try to
share each day or at least every few days on my blog as well.
Along with that, The Stampers with an Attitude will be doing their Monthly Blog Hop
featuring Gratitude with an Attitude Art. This ought to be fun.
Do come back & check out the Blog Hop
anytime after November 10th.
~~~~~~~~~~~
Here's my List from the last 5 days and today.
November 1~ I have a lot to be Thankful for. Today, I am THANKFUL for my true Friends and all my FAMILY.
November 2~ Very Thankful for my Husband. Thank you for all your patients, love, giving nature, and the ability to still make me laugh even when I just want to cry. We've climb hills and a few mountains along our travels. May we continue to stand beside each other through each and every day.
November 3Thankful for my Healthy, Smart, Beautiful Girls. Makes life worth living to see them mature into young women. I am proud to say they are my daughters. They bring me the sun in days of gloom. They are not perfect and as all of us have flaws and can test my patience from time to time. God truly Blessed me with these miracles. So very Thankful.
November 4~ Been a very long day. I AM VERY THANKFUL for the days I am able to get out of bed, perform daily tasks, Do extra cleaning chores around the house, plan for upcoming Scrapbooking classes, breath and function without pain, and have a bed to lay my body down on when the day comes to an end. Good night my friends. I am Blessed today and every day.
November 5~ Very Blessed to be able to see & hear. We, that have these senses take it for granted what a wonder it is to hear our children's voices, cry's, and beautiful giggles & to see their faces on a day to day bases. Thank you Lord for these awesome moments and gifts in our lives.
November 6Thankful to be able to have a roof over our heads, food on the table, clothes to wear, and blankets to cuddle in when the weather begins to chill. So many, due to layoffs over the last 4 years have lost everything. So Blessed we have been able to keep our heads afloat and have faith that we will get through each day with his grace and carry us even when there were/are times we couldn't/can't see past that very hour to the next.

What are you Thankful for each day of your life?
