Many Scraps of Blue~Monochromatic projects

I have been looking at all my scraps in a very large color coordinated file holder. It's time to get them used and make way for newer papers and other products. As I was browsing this week through many of my crafty friends blogs and many others, I saw where at Anything Goes Challenge Blog was having a Monochromatic theme.
Monochrome means - The tints, tones and shades of one color.
Looking at my huge stash of card stock scraps and the many stashes of background & texture papers (papers with designs), I noticed I had oodles and bacoodles of Blues. I'm guessing I use more blue than any other.
Today I have decided to do more crafts using mainly my scraps before I open/buy another pack of paper.  My first project I will enter into the Heart to Heart challenge - ALL THAT GLITTERS
As my friend Steph said a while ago....I'm in a blue kind of mode. So here it goes ,the beginning of my Monochromatic projects. TODAY IS BLUE DAY!

This card I entered into Anything Goes Challenge# 85 Monochrome
Here is a more masculine card. I stamped my own B&T card stock. Used fussy cutting to make a paper embellishment and popped that layer off the other layers. I also stamped the inside of this card. So simple and fast.

Family Love and Monogram Stamp sets.

Using Monogram Stamps,  Flip Flap 12" assortment,  Cricut stamps
& cuts from the  Artiste Cartridge,  and the Feb. Stamp of the Month
(Availble Feb. 1, 2013 in the new Idea Book.)
for this Family Layout. Took some tips from the CTMH video
from my last post and also did some random stamping from a
previous CTMH video. Those video's are so helpful when my
creative mind hits a brick wall.
 I have several individual family photos from different events I
wanted to put into my family scrapbook but, I did not want
to make 6 separate pages or more. So, I have used one
of the 12" Assortment Flip Flaps to coordinate some extra space and
add to the original 12x12 page.
What an awesome way to add more pics, make it
interactive, and extend my page.
It was so darn easy, I have made a few
more to have ready for other pics..Of course,
 I used different papers and other stamp sets.
I still need to add journal-ling to this layout.
OhMy~That seems to always come later for me.
Here's my take on using the monogram single stamp sets
(very reasonable and versatile).
Enjoy the my page.
This shows the page with the Flip Flap closed
onto the 12x12 page.
I have not put the layout in the protective sheet or the
flip flap due to the amount of glare they cause.

 Here I am holding the Flap open so you
can see the inside of the flap.

Here is the added flap open to the inside.

You will see at the bottom I have interlinked
the flag banner(cut from the Cricut Artiste) from the flap inner to
the 12x12 base page.

 Here, you see I stamped the monogram letters
onto Daisy White cardstock and layered
those onto the Ruby Red scalloped
circle cut from the Artiste Cricut Cartridge
Thank you for stopping by..
I have entered this in the
CardzTV challenge.
" A Banner Year"
Go by and check out all the wonderful talent.
Most are cards, but I thought the layout hit the spot with
my banner and the Monogram banner format as well.

Would love to hear your take on this layout.
Also, you will see that I have linked all the videos and
the items used so you can find them easily.

CARDS... I am on a ROLL...

Another Card...
I am on a roll this month.
My Thank You Card for a couple
we just met over New Years Eve.
A Fun Time we all had.
I did some fussy cutting with my Sunflowers and
popped those up off the layers.
One of my very
favorite things to do in crafting
is STAMPING and I love Sunflowers.

I have entered this in the
Outlawz Challenge -Twisted Thursday
Challenge= Anything Goes
Twist= Your Favorite Thing

My Card was inspired by a paper pack we had
last year called Pemberly and the stamp set for
the  Sept. Stamp of the Month.
Colors used were Dutch Blue, Denim Blue, Honey, Buttercup
Topiary Green, Sweet Leaf, & Olive
This was perfect for what I needed. Hope you like.
Thank You for stopping by.

Christmas pictures added to my Scrapbook pages ... finally

Yes, I got them printed and added to these Scrapbook pages I did awhile back.  Said I would post pics with the finished project... Here they are. These two pages are Not meant to be side by side. They are for two different scrapbooks. I know Christmas is over... but I had to share.
 This was such a special December Event with family and friends. Got two more pages to do so I can add more of the other family and friends. I may add those Flip Flaps from Close To My Heart in order to add more pics with out having to have so many pages for one event.
This was the original page I made last year for a customer...made one for myself but never put a pic on it. So I changed the one block for the Year to match up with the year of these pics.

Here, you see the Glitter Glitz Gel I used to fill in this
 stamp sets lights. Such a fun page to do

This was another page I re did for myself with a few changes
so it would not match my customers order.  I actually journaled in my hand writing. This will be a great page for them to look back on years from now.
 Hope you enjoyed. If you would like the recipe, tools, and supplies I used for these pages, just click the comment link below, leave me a message and I will get back with you.
Thanks Ashley for inviting

Simple, New, and mixed with a little Old, Yea ME!!!

Information regarding Girls Day Out Click HERE
& Whoo's Your Valentine sneak peak.

Creating simple cards to start off my New Year. I am using a new Close To My Heart Stamp set, "Happy Birthday Cricut Artiste"  Bundle collection-Z1686.
My inspiration came from my Wishes Card Confidence book.
I am using scraps of old papers and combining with  new.
As you know, I do not do many cards. I have gotten better and hope
to improve as 2013 takes shape in my crafty world.
I used the tearing technique, sponged the edges in Chocolate Brown ink-Z2111. Layered the papers onto a folded 4" x 4.5"  white daisy card stock base. Placed a 2.5"x 2.5" white square in the center.
The tag was stamped with stamp set A Typeface-A1117
Inked the Chipboard letter in Outdoor Denim-Z2140
edged in the Chocolate ink
then tied Hemp around the upper extension of the letter
to hang the tag from.
I added some Bling by adding metal stars left over
from another project.
~~~~~~~
Here is another version using the same products and tools with a touch of my CTMH Glitter Glitz Gel (Love the stuff-doesn't run & the glitter doesn't rub off) outlining the upper paper tear. Also the Stamp set used here for the sentiment is Be Happy-B1374
Hope you enjoy the cards. Love to get your crafty comments on what you think of my first two cards for this year.
Embossed Resist Stamping
Ever wonder what resist embossing is?
Well here's a quick video to help you out.
I need to get into my scraproom and
do some art work using these wonderful ideas.  Looks like
it will be a few weeks.
Got to finish putting Christmas up, visit family
in Picwick, and do some major clutter control.
In the mean time, I will have a few video's time posted for
you to view. Hopefully they are helpful and give you
many ideas in your crafty space.
But first, I just want to say thank you to all
my Blog followers. I do hope your 2013 is healthy, loving,
and prosperous. May you each be Blessed and your
lives enriched with all that is kind and good.
Hope to post more art work and share more of life this year.
We will see how that goes....*;) winking
Life has changed a lot for me during 2012 and my prayers are
 for a better year in all aspects.
Do remember to take a moment for yourself and make a card,
a craft, or scrapbook a page of everyday life. You'll be glad
you did when you look back 5 or 10 years from now to look at photos.
Those that are still in a camera or on the pc and were never
put into a journal format may turn into  "just a picture" that
you can't remember all the vital information to pass along.
I have put off doing so many events or a special few pics
from just a few years ago....
...Guess What...
....some of my information is not what I remember. *:( sad
Not only that..everyone in the pictures, has a different memory
of when and what we were doing.
How frustrating. *:-/ confused
So, these will be pages I won't have information on...or
I may share each persons memory of that event just
for some mind boggling fun for later.*:)) laughing
Thank you for stopping by.
you think of the techniques they shared with us.
