Home Decor Items

A gift for my daughter from me and her son.
Used some of my CTMH stash papers from a few years back, stamp sets,
and ink to accomplish this project. Frame came from Micheals.
The Scrapbook frames that you can
find make this a great gift project, home decor highlighting
your many memories in life.
All she has to do is add that picture of that sweet boy.

Here is a small wreath that was so easy to make. I used the CTMH Cricut "Art Philosphy for the flowers and the bird. Ribbon was from a stash i had and the vine wreath came from Hobby Lobby.
I think I'll be re-decoing my Bathroom and add this wreath in that room.
The leaves were cut in two colors from the CTMH CS. I used brown bag and Olive. I then creased and crumpled the leaves slightly until I got the effect I wanted. I also painted a very light amount of CTMH create-a-shade pearl paint in various areas of the leaf. I hope you can see it here, i added some pearl paint to the folded edges of the roses.
The roses are from Colonial White CS and cut with the Art Philosophy Cart. I daubed some of the flowers edges with Tulip and a few others with Blush. The centers are darker due to me adding a small rolled piece
of Tulip papers. I think it gave them more depth in the centers.

The bird was cut in 3 parts, the base and the wing and wing shadow. I did the wing and base in two other blue colors to this effect. I also added Glitter Glitz Gel around the wing for more depth and sparkle. I then added a small sparkly gem for the eye.
Please leave a comment on the main post if you'd like more information regarding this project. Better yet, Just let me know what you think.
I hope you enjoyed this item.
