Here is my layout for the H2H Scrapbook Sketches and the
H2H Monday Challenges. Enjoy and leave some blog love.
CTMH Products used unless stated otherwise.
CTMH Solid Cardstock:
White Daisy, MoonStruck, Buttercup, and Dutch Blue
My Acrylix stamp sets:
Token Alphabet E1020,  Fun Times B1309,
Picture Perfect D1363,  Notice the Details D1378
Exclusive Inks:
Moonstruck Z2145,  Buttercup Z2110
Exclusive inks marker  Moonstruck Z2334
Paper Dolies
CTMH Sponge Daubers Z726
Glitz Glitter Gel Z1313
CTMH Buttons Blues Z1371
Basic Brights Yellow Floss - Hobby lobby

Used the Glitter Glitz Gel on the grove of the buttons and
on various areas on the dolies and on the stamped animal images.
The dolie was sponge daubed in the Moonstruck on the edge and
then around the center of the circle. Stamped teh center in buttercup
yellow and the cutie saying around that.. Also, I fringed the outer
layer photo mat for a more destinctive look.
Stamped the base of SWEET on seperate CS in buttercup then
stamped the letters in Moonstruck and cut them out, pop dotted
onto the base page. The frogs eyes, mouth, and some spotts have
Glitter Glitz Gel.
These are pictures of my sweet grandbaby Trevor just a week after
coming home.  He is now 7 months old.. Can you say Behind...I am
just now getting to some of his pics. So you may be seeing a lot of
him in future layouts.
Thank you for stoping by and hope you enjoy
this layout as much as I do.

Picnick Layout from My Monthly Crop Club Event

*****************************************
This has been a week.. I hope everyone is staying cool
and not over doing it in the heat.  Heat index here has
been tripple digits for the last 10 or 12 days.  HOT HOT!!
Our Crop Club Event was a blast.  I enjoyed designing
this Layout. The CTMH Flip Flaps really were a hit.
I have used many of the 4x6 flip flaps for added photos
on a page or used them in my Personalized Photo Mailers.
But I can really see an added extension to my Layouts
with the 12" Assorted Flip Flaps
Here are pics of that layout. Used all CTMH products
unless otherwise stated.
Mayberry Level 2 paper pack X7136B
My Acrylix Summer Days Stamp Set B1375
My Acrylix Splendid Day Stamp Set D1462
Olive C.S., Colonial Wht C.S., Chocolate C.S.
Exclusive Inks used: Sweet Leaf, Topiary,
Cocoa, Tulip, Sunset, Buttercup, & Black
Memory Protectors Flip Flap
12' Assortment Z1325,
Martha Stewart Paper Punch~Family
Used masking technique for the sun. Tore a plan thin
sheet of scrap  paper that covered the area that I did not
want stamped on the base page. Inked the stamp in the
Sunset first. Cleaned the stamp, reversed the scrap paper
and inked the stamp in Buttercup then offset the stamp
over the original stamp.
Stamped the Tree Top in Sweet Leaf onto 12x12 base.
Stamped the image on seperate CS in Sweet Leaf and
restamped the image slightly to one side and lower in
Topiary on top of the Sweet Leaf. Cut out image,
pop dotted and placed image over the original stamped
image at a slightly lower postion. This showed the original
image as a shadow or far off look to the tree top. Did the
same to the trunk of the tree as well.

The watermelon base stamped in tulip 1st generation
then stamped on a seperate CS in 2nd generation. Cut out
2nd generation image slightly thinner. Then pop dotted
and placed over the origninal stamped image.

I have made 3 kits for anyone who would like to have this layout.
Kit includes all the pre-cut papers, a few items that are pre printed,
pre stamped on seperate carstock tree top, tree trunk, and watermelons.
Included are the 12" x 6 Flip Flap Memory protector, and the
12x12 Protector. If interested leave me a comment with your
email and I will send more information.

Have a Wonderful and CraftyWeek!

After Celebrations...THANKFUL!... And a New Layout

What’s there to say, Monday July 4, 2011 was wonderful. We are so blessed to have the freedoms we do. I am Thankful for all those who served, are serving, and the families of the many who have fought bravely for this country. Those families give up many sacrifices when a loved one is away serving for our country. So many have given the ultimate sacrifice so that we are able to celebrate our freedoms however we choose. Hopefully, each and everyone one us remember to be kind and courteous to those in the Military and to the families that go months and sometimes years not having their loved ones home to enjoy everyday life. I thank my little brother who serves now. My father who served many years, and the friends I have made along my journey of life that have served or are still serving. GOD BLESS to you all!

Now, on to the rest of my Crafty Blog today.
Don't forget about the H2H Challenge that was posted Monday. You have until July 7th to enter. Also, OWH Blog has a blog challenge going too.
The following Layout I made I have entered into the OWH blog and Paper Cutz Challenge as well. I haven't developed my 2 pictures yet but, I could not wait to show it off. I was going to rest this afternoon...guess what, the creativity bug caught me and I have been playing in my crafts ever since. Oh well, I'll rest later. I have one Layout I am going to use for my 4th of July weekend, but I needed more. So as I was looking around I saw some works of art in card format that altered and into this Layout. Hope you like. I did not use stamped images, the cricut machine, or any fancy specialty items other than a scallop punch, scissors and one star brad. This was simply to make. I did not even measure items and I hand wrote my journaling. I plan on putting one large picture in the red square area and have a couple of smaller square pictures right above it. The pinwheel was an Idea from OWH blog and the scallop banner was from one of the older H2H challenges. The blue mat, I hand wrote America across it at an angle with a white gel pen. If you can see it. I wrote off the edges and started from off the edge so that it looked like a continuous piece of paper. I also hand wrote the word Celebrate too. Now, I usually would choose to stamp or preprint because I am not a fan of my handwriting. All our works of art need to be seen in its rarest form sometimes. My girls will look back and recognize this was my hand writing that I shared a day in our life.
This proves you can be creative without all the fancy items.
Thank you for stopping by and I hope you
will return to browse around. Would love to
hear your comments.
Have a wonderful Crafty Week!
Hope to see you around the blog corner!

The 4th, 5th, & 6th parts of my "Challenge to Myself"
One more to go and I will have completed my personal Goal
Here's what some of you have been waiting for. I am finally posting my Scrapbook layouts that I was able to work on for My Challenge to Myself. I did get behind by a few weeks, but was able to do them, just did not get them posted. I hope you like. The first one is the
On-line Studio J Layout...

Yes, I finally took the plunge and learned how to do digital Scrapbooking. It was very easy. I will be looking at a membership with "Close To My Heart's" Studio J. I will use this form of scrapbooking when I need copies of the same pages for both of my girls’ scrapbooks. This is cost effective and much quicker too. I had fun and after learning the initial How to's. I was able to get 2 scrapbook pages done in about 20 min. (for me, that’s very quick)
  ***************************************************************
My 2nd Layout.
I have not added the pictures yet. Waiting to resize a couple of the pics.
