What's on my Crafty Space this week.

Using up some cardstock, B&T paper scraps and one of my retired
stamp sets. Love getting to use up the scraps.
I also used the Cuttle Bug I got from my
friend, who upgraded to a bigger and absolutely wonderful
embossing machine. (don't remember which one she has now)
I do not do many cards but, I think I am improving with each try.
This week is our Anniversary, So I thought I would make a
card especially for my super wonderful hubby.
25 years.
WOW!!! It really does not seem that long ago.
 Used my Close To My Heart Twilight, Black, Colonial White cardstock
from my nearby stash. Also grab a few CTMH B&T papers from
my older stash and then a few papers from my random stash.
I used my Black CS for the base , embossed the Colonial Wht. CS
with the Cuttle Bug Paisly folder.
 The heart on the front wast cut with the cuttle bug
 Used the I Love You sentiment from Close To My Heart
Acrylix Stamp Sets ~
I used the negative piece of Twilight CS to mat on top my random designed paper.
Used the cut out with another Paisley embossed CS for the inside. I adhered the
tiny cutout using my Close To My Heart Bonding Memories Glue Pen.
The completed card measures 4.25" x 5.5"
I later added a personalized note for my hubbies eyes only.

Let me know what you think of my card.
Would love to hear your thoughts.

Craft Room Update, How to "Kiss with Stamps" Video and more

 Hello my crafty friends,
Things are beginning to look up and I am so excited for each day I have. My energy levels come and go but, so far so good at this point and time. Still battling a day or two here & there but, I am so much better than I have been in over a year. How Blessed I have been to have my hubby and my girls help me when I have been at my worst.
I need to get back to my crafting so I can share more with you. My Craft Wall is nearly done. I still have so much to do, but it is getting there. Just two pics for now. My table top is no longer that red/black trim. it's now a beautiful Lagoon/Brown trim. Let me tell you..the Spray paint method with Kyron's 2 in one coat is the best.
Above~The basics from a few weeks ago to Below~All my everyday Craft needs on this section of the wall with in reach when I am busy creating.
You see here, I used my daughters old baby bed springs (springs are about 20 yrs. old) painted to match the table and am using as a wall hanging to pin my most recent art work or other items I may need close by.
This downsizing event took a lot out of me and I had to take about four days to recover from this first part of it.
I still have another Ikea book shelf and 3 floor shelves to fit in here somewhere. Along with another room full of items to purge/sell/throw out. Hopefully it will all be done by August 24th. That's my deadline~BEFORE MY BIRTHDAY. We'll see how that holds up to everyday life challenges in the VanWoerden Household. Wish Me Luck!!!

Lately I've been busy learning all I can about what's in our new 2013 FALL/WINTER IDEA BOOK. What a joy to browse through my book and see all the amazing inspiration and new products. Can't wait to use the new papers and most of all the CLOSE TO MY HEART "ARTBOOKING" Cricut Cartridge. It is better than slice bread...LOL! Seriously, it is....LOL!!
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
While I am tweaking my schedule and life in general, thought I would share this simple stamping technique I use often. Some of you stamping veterans may know this already & just need a refresher course or you are new to stamping and would love to see multiple ways to use our Acrylix Stamps. So simply kissable...LOL
Such a simple little technique with a big WOW factor. Love doing this with so many of my projects. Hope you enjoyed this little Video from Close To My Heart. The Ideas are also a plus.
Now, get to crafting and enjoy each precious moment in the everyday ordinary or not so ordinary journey in your  life.
Thank you so much for stopping by.
