"BOO"
BANNER

For the Boo Banner I used the Mischief Level 2 paper pack from CTMH.

Fun papers for Halloween or any fall craft uses.

Hope You Enjoy.
Don't forget to leave some BLOG LOVE at the main post.

The Spiders are cut from Doodle Charms Cricut Cartridge.
The Letters are Pre Cut Chip Board from Hobby Lobby.
(I have had those for awhile and needed to use them up.)

The lettering strip is cut from the zip tabs off the papers used in Mischief paper pack. I matted them onto 2 larger pcs. of paper and slightly crinkled then added to the banner with pop dots.
The spiders are cut at 2.5" in the main cut and the white background is cut in shadow at 2.5". I swiped the wht. with sunset and orange ink. The ribbon they are hanging from is glued to the back between the white and a separate spider head cut from the Doodle Charms Cart.
The Orange back ground paper already has some spooky printing on them. The first triangle did not have as much print on the paper, so I added a stamped spider web  and spider images. The ghosts are a stamped image I cut out and put Silver Glitter Glitz Gel onto.
I also added CTMH's Stardust Glitter Glitz Gel to the center of the Chip Board Letters

Working on Christmas in June ....
Have a little project going.......I have a few of these small boxes that were used to ship parts in to a friend of mine. He gave them to me hoping I could up-cycle them into something creative.
I thought abut giving Special Christmas tags as gifts to family and a few friends for them to reuse each year. Each tag would have a photo and a Blessing for that particular person. Anyway, I am covering and decorating the boxes and planing on having a few extra tags in each box for them to use and give to others. This will be a work in progress for awhile. I have 8 boxes at the moment. Here is one that is finished. The tags are still being worked on since I need to get pics of that particular family. Knowing me...I will bling the box up even more as the seasons change from summer to fall then winter.
(Can't get that Christmas feeling when temps are mid 90's.)
I used all scrap papers left over from Close to My Heart paper packs and WOG's. I also have thrown in a few scrap papers from other stashes I have. Hopefully this will help dwindle my scrap stash down. That would be an accomplishment in its self. I lined the inside of the box with felt. I think this made the box look a little bit like a treasure box.  I plan to attempt to get one of these boxes done each month and at least 8 to 10 tags to go with each box set. Wish me luck.
The tags were cut with the Art Philosophy Cricut Cartridge from CTMH. Each tag has
a special little cut out. some are filled in with glitter glitz gel and others are left showing the
opposite paper side that coordinates.  I have posted this in  the Use it or Lose it Challenge #8. Go by and check out some of the other up-cycled projects. Have fun creating and hope your summer is filled with something crafty. Check the Home page out for other projects and inspirations for your crafty bones.
